Create Order

Creates a new order with the specified amount, currency, reference ID, and optional metadata. The generated order can be used to initiate and track a customer payment throughout its lifecycle.

Body Parameters

amount*integer

The total order amount in the smallest currency unit. For INR, enter the amount in paise. For example, ₹100.00 should be provided as 10000.

currency*string

The three-letter ISO currency code for the order amount. For example, use INR for Indian Rupees.

return_urlstring

The URL to which the customer is redirected after the payment is completed, failed, or cancelled.

return_methodstring

POSTGET

The HTTP method used to redirect the customer to the return_url after the payment attempt. Supported values are GET and POST.

metadatajson object

A set of custom key-value pairs used to store additional information about the customer. You can provide up to 15 entries. Each key can contain 1–50 characters, and each value can contain up to 200 characters.
