Move to Live only after the complete Test journey works for success, failure, pending, cancellation, retries, and delayed notifications.

Replace Test API credentials with Live credentials through server-side configuration.
Serve checkout, return, and callback endpoints over HTTPS.
Keep the Salt Key in a secret manager or protected environment variable.
Verify signatures, amount, currency, order ownership, and final status.
Test duplicate callbacks, network timeouts, customer cancellation, and safe retries.
Add idempotency to order creation, status updates, and fulfilment.
Confirm customer-facing success and failure messages do not expose internal errors.
Restrict production access and rotate any credentials exposed during development.
Monitor and reconcile
- Alert on elevated failure rates, callback failures, and long-pending payments.
- Reconcile FiatPe payment IDs with your internal order and ledger records.
- Keep an auditable record of verified status transitions.
- Provide support teams with order and payment IDs, never secret credentials.
