Methods API

Retrieve the payment methods and capabilities currently enabled for your FiatPe account.

Fetch available payment methods

Call the Methods API from your backend to discover the payment capabilities enabled for the credentials in the request. Use the response to display only the card networks, card types, UPI flows, banks, and wallets that your account can currently accept.

Availability is account-specific.

A value of true means that capability is enabled for the authenticated account. Do not hardcode the example response or expose your secret key in frontend or mobile application code.

curl --location 'https://api.fiatpe.com/v1/payments/methods/' \
  --header 'Authorization: Basic <base64(api_key:secret_key)>'

Response

The response groups payment capabilities by method. Boolean values indicate whether a capability is enabled, while the Net Banking and wallet objects map provider codes to their display names.

Only approved banks and wallets are returned.

The netbanking and wallet objects contain only the providers enabled for the authenticated account. If a bank or wallet is not present in the response, do not display or submit it as a payment option.

Integration guidance

  1. Call this endpoint securely from your backend using the same credentials used to initiate payments.
  2. Render only capabilities marked as enabled. For Net Banking and wallets, show only the providers included in their respective response objects.
  3. Use the object key, such as a bank or wallet code, in the payment request and use its value as the customer-facing label.
  4. Refresh the methods when starting a checkout session or according to a suitable application policy because account configuration can change.
  5. Handle an unavailable or failed Methods API request without presenting an unsupported payment option.
